The cottage is a traditional, single storey house overlooking the village with views of the valley and the mountains The property sleeps 4 and has a large garden with pool. It is situated at the edge of the village with excellent access to the Sierra Nevada mountains. It has one double and one twin bedroom. The bathroom has a shower and a bath (very necessary after a day’s hike in the mountains!). The large kitchen/living room is light and airy with French doors leading out to the garden and pool. It has air conditioning which makes it comfortable in the heat of the summer and radiators and an open fire for the cooler winter months. The lovely garden with almond and fig trees give welcome shade in the summer, perfect for relaxing and dining al fresco. Niguelas has excellent road links to all the area has to offer. Granada airport can be reached in 25 minutes by car and Malaga, in 1 hour 30 mins.

Casa Los Almendros is located in El Valle de Lecrin (Lecrin valley), known to the Moors as “the valley of happiness”. An area of natural beauty, citrus groves, pretty white villages and stunning mountain scenery set between Granada and the coast. Granada city cannot be missed - visit the Moorish Palace of the Alhambra and wander through the narrow cobbled streets of the Albaicín, the old Arab quarter. It has something to offer everyone. Granada and the Alhambra can be reached in 20 mins by car.

Niguelas is a charming village with a number of shops, bars and 2 restaurants. The Sierra Nevada mountains which rise dramatically behind the village. A perfect location for walking, horse riding, mountain biking etc. Other activities available in the area include diving, climbing, cycling, tennis, hang-gliding, walking, parascending, aqua park, etc. The beaches of Costa Tropical are under 30 min drive away. Sierra Nevada ski resort offers great skiing for all standards. It is 40 mins by car.
